Following Pakistan’s defeat to India in the 2023 ICC World Cup, actress and model Nawal Saeed has caused a stir by asserting that Pakistani cricketers have been sending her flirtatious messages on Instagram. During an interview on Momin Saqib’s show “Had Kardi,” Nawal called on cricketers to focus on the global tournament in India rather than engaging in such interactions.
Nawal’s remarks generated mixed reactions online. Some dismissed her claims as mere attempts to seek attention and publicity, while others speculated about the cricketer allegedly involved in these online exchanges.
Although Nawal refrained from naming anyone, she candidly disclosed that she regularly receives unsolicited messages from Pakistani cricketers via Instagram. This revelation coincides with the nation’s attention on the World Cup and the disappointment following Pakistan’s loss to India.
She expressed surprise that these cricketers, representing Pakistan on the international stage, would send messages to actresses while on national duty at the World Cup. Notably, the cricketers in question have verified accounts with blue checkmarks, prompting questions about the appropriateness of these unsolicited messages.
Saeed suggested that public figures should exercise greater discretion in their online interactions. She noted that while messages from actors don’t bother her, receiving messages from cricketers genuinely surprises her. She did not disclose the identities of these cricketers, leaving fans and followers to speculate.
Nawal Saeed, a 27-year-old emerging Pakistani actress and model, is actively pursuing a career in the showbiz industry. In her most recent work, she appeared in the drama serial “Bikhray Hain Hum” alongside Noor Hassan and Zoya Nasir, receiving praise. Her upcoming project includes the Hum TV serial “Daagh-e-Dil” with Asad Siddiqui.
