Peshawar has achieved a significant milestone by appointing a woman, Sub-Inspector Saima Sharif, as the in-charge of a police outpost, breaking barriers and setting new precedents.
This groundbreaking decision marks the first time in Peshawar’s history that a female sub-inspector has been entrusted with such a pivotal role. Saima Sharif, a dedicated and experienced officer, has previously served in various police stations, including Muharr, located in the suburbs of Peshawar.
Her appointment as the in-charge of the police station reflects her exceptional skills and commitment to her duty. Notably, she has also completed a United Nations mission, representing Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, highlighting her exemplary service in the field of law enforcement.
