Following a surprise attack by Hamas and Israel’s response, a complete blockade has been imposed on the region. Israel’s military has conducted airstrikes in Gaza, targeting more than 200 locations in a neighborhood of Gaza City that Hamas allegedly used to launch attacks.
Under the “complete siege,” Israel’s defense ministry halted the supply of electricity, food, water, and fuel to the enclave, exacerbating the plight of the people in Gaza.
The targets of the airstrikes, according to the Palestinian interior ministry, included “towers, residential buildings, civil and service facilities, and many mosques.” However, Hamas denied using any of the targeted towers.
