This meeting followed the remarkable victory of Karachi Whites in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy. Karachi Whites emerged victorious in the final, defeating Faisalabad, under the captaincy of Sarfaraz Ahmed.

Karachi Whites claimed their fifth Quaid-e-Azam Trophy title by triumphing over Faisalabad at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium. They achieved victory with a resounding margin of 456 runs on the tournament’s ultimate day, held earlier this Thursday.

In recognition of outstanding performances, Saim Ayub from Karachi Whites received the Player of the Final match award. He showcased an impressive performance, amassing 203 runs in the first innings and following it up with 109 runs in the second innings.

Sarfaraz Ahmed, who led the winning team and contributed 697 runs while recording 28 dismissals, was honored with the title of Player of the Tournament.

The tournament’s leading bowler was Khurram Shahzad from Faisalabad, who secured 36 wickets in eight matches. Additionally, Ali Shan, also representing Faisalabad, was acknowledged as the best wicket-keeper with 28 catches and one stumping to his name.
